Following a competitive tender Essex County Council has selected DeltaNet International to provide a strategic capability diagnostics solution for all of its employees. DeltaNet’s will implement its leading talent management system Talent Watch to provide the ‘Your Capability’ toolkit to all 13,000 employees within the council.
Based around a set of in-house defined capabilities (competencies) the system provides self, 180o or 360o capability assessment for each job role within the council. The system empowers:
- individuals to take more responsibility for their learning plan and career development
- managers to identify skills gaps and proactively address these
- HR professions to map skills across the organisation hierarchy and inform strategic decision making.
The system will be piloted in Q3 2010 and rolled out late 2010 and early 2011. |
