DeltaNet International Limited has been appointed by the Leicestershire Social Care Development Group to develop a web-based portal to support care providers working in the Leicestershire and Rutland areas.
The Leicestershire region currently encompasses over 750 social care organisations, who between them employ some 12,000 staff. As part of its commitment towards to improving skills and employment opportunities for social care staff, the web portal will be introduced as a continuous professional development tool and will pull together resources, contacts and enable the users to contribute towards best practice.
In the first phase of the project the portal will provide information on:
- training opportunities database
- latest news
- funding
- discussions
- key contacts and link to appropriate information
