South Yorkshire Police have selected DeltaNet to work in partnership with its performance development department on a flagship e-induction programme.
South Yorkshire Police required a partner to assist in the development of an on-line induction programme for its support staff which was to be used as the basis of a comprehensive, interactive induction process, accessible to staff through its internally networked intranet.
Although aimed at new staff, the programme needed to be accessible and relevant for staff throughout South Yorkshire Police (approximately 5000 staff) for example job changers should have the ability to update / gain new knowledge.
Rather than develop a bespoke solution specifically for South Yorkshire Police, DeltaNet has tailored its generic induction toolkit to include a re-banded programme complete with logo and colour scheme.
As a result of implementing the e-induction programme, South Yorkshire Police hope to improve course availability, better deliver consistent key messages, improved its common culture, reduce overall costs and improve management control. |
