How do you stop the performance appraisal descending into a box ticking exercise?
Kirklees MC chose to use e-learning programmes to equip their line managers with the skills and knowledge to improve the effectiveness of the Performance Review and Development (PRD) meetings. We used real life scenarios to bring the key messages home, and allowed the line managers to make their decisions throughout the scenario to test their understanding, competency and abilities to think creatively.
