Prior to the Data Protection project, DeltaNet had worked with Circle Anglia to help define their e-learning strategy, and implemented a series of software tools to help them deliver it cost effectively and with minimum disruption to the business. We had also delivered an initial e-learning Health and Safety course and trained them to develop their own e-learning content in-house.
Circle Anglia needed to roll out data protection training to all of its 1,200 staff and had costed the project using a traditional face to face approach in excess of £100,000 which would still take them at least six months to complete. Instead they commissioned DeltaNet to build an e-learning course with three modules:
- Why is there a data protection act?
- What is the data protection act?
- How should we protect our data?
All 1,200 staff completed the course within a 2 month period and the project provided a six fold return on investment within this short period of time.
Furthermore Circle Anglia has the e-learning solution available on their servers for all new staff and for refresher training 24/7 without any further investment. |
